I think you can never guarantee good service anywhere...BUT the experience my family and I had at this restaurant was perfect! There were 12 of us with 4 kids. They were SO nice to us and very accomodating with the children. The waitress was fantastic and we ate at sunset which was breathtaking with the ambiance.

The food was what we were most impressed with. I had the most incredible lobster ever, not chewy just perfect meat. My brother's Mahi Mahi was outstanding and my other brother's tuna steak was equally delicious. As was the thai soup he had as an appetizer.

So I really think you should take reviews with a grain of salt because your experience might be the complete oppostie of someone elses. Especially since we all felt it was a better meal than El Gouchos, Screaming Equal, and of course the horrible Iguana Joe's.

We thought this place was terrible. I had tuna which tasted like it came out of a can. Not fresh at all. Expensive and not worth any of it.

We were VERY dissapointed with this restaurant. When we were dropped, it looked so nice....The service was worse than HORRIBLE, and the prices were the HIGHEST of almost anywhere we went....

Such a disappointment. If you want great fish, go to the Pelican Pier. We ate there twice, and the ambiance is the best on the island!

We stayed at the Marriott Surf Club and thought we would stop in at the Hadicurari for lunch. What a mistake! It took us 45 minutes to get 2 salads with chicken. The waiter was clueless, once he took the order we never saw him again - until we had to track him down to find our food (and actually one of our salads had been given to another table). He never came back to take drink orders, refill our drinks, ask if we needed anything, etc. And so our short stop for lunch ended up being about a 90 minute disaster - we should have just eaten at the Marriott. The food was average at best - of course no salad dressing and no waiter to get it.

One bright spot was a young woman (Dutch) who was the only one really tuned in and working at the restaurant. Our waiter dropped and broke dishes and she did the clean up, she got us drinks, she checked on our food after we waited forever - and so thanks to her we actually got fed. Of course we had to corner the waiter to get the bill - because heaven forbid he would actually notice after 90 minutes we would want to pay.

We are in Aruba often, love Flying Fishbone, and many of the lovely restaurants in the area - this one never again. Dr. FV

Food is really good. Service is friendly. Makes you feel like they are really happy you are there. Only drawback..Sunday Eves.. WALL TO WALL motercycles at the bar next door.. VERY LOUD when they rev their bikes..which is frequently.. Aruba needs a noise abatement program...they need it quickly....

A good restaurant to get you in an
Aruban mood. Pretty setting especially at sunset time. Seafood was fresh and tastefully presented.

Had dinner here with a group of 8. Several had mahi-mahi and liked it. 3 had the mixed seafood. It was overcooked and looked like a mixture of dicarded fish pieces. The waiter seemed confused as to which piece was what. Me too. Service was annoyingly slow, even by Aruba standards. For value, overpriced. Atmosphere nice, but give me the old fish shack that was torn down to go "upmarket". It had much more characher and value. Will not return.

Food was good, service was slow. Only 3 tables in the restaurant, and 3 servers, so the service should have been faster. I had the filet mignon, and my wife had beef tenderloin gyro. It was a beautiful day and the restaurant was right on the beach.
